Lone
Star Electronics Co. was established by J&H Industries, Inc. in 1975
to manufacture the communication antennas in the VHF and low
UHF band for the mobile radio communication industry. In 1979,
EM Technologies, Inc.
acquired the company and moved to our current location in Prosper,
Texas, approximately 30 miles north of Dallas. Since
then, the company has expanded its product
line to include our current series of antenna products for
HF, VHF, and Microwaves in order to meet the needs of the
growing wireless radio communication
industries. EM Technologies, Inc. has maintained the name "Lone
Star Electronics Co." as a trade name.
Lone
Star Electronics Co. has complete in-house manufacturing
and antenna testing facilities on 100 acres of land. Manufacturing
facilities include
a complete machine shop with welding and sheet metal
fabrication facilities as well as aluminum plating and copper
clad etching shops. For antenna testing, our outdoor far-field
testing range (40-feet high x 3500-feet down range)
is well-suited for Microwave antennas and a mobile-tracked,
outdoor, antenna pattern range, including antenna impedance
testing towers simulating the actual tower
and pole,
is specifically designed to accommodate small-sized antennas.
In addition, near-field measurement facilities are utilized
for antenna development work.
Over the last 25 years, Lone
Star Electronics Co. has served wireless
radio communication industries in the United States and
abroad as well as U.S defense agencies with superior antenna
technology and
guaranteed product reliability.
We have designed and manufactured well over 100 different
antennas, accumulating and demonstrating the vast
state-of-the-art in antenna technologies, mastering both small-
and large-volume production techniques during those years.
Our company motto is to serve our customers
with the most efficient and reliable antenna for your
needs and to ensure
satisfaction by meeting your communication link requirements.
